Administrative assistant

Job Location: In person at our facility in Baltimore, MD. 

Job Hours: This is a full-time, salaried position. Monday through Friday schedule. 

Starting Salary Range: $40,000 - $54,000 / year

We are looking for an organized individual with keen attention to detail, excellent customer service skills, and a team player mentality. The Administrative Assistant lends an essential support role to the teams across our company. A successful candidate is amenable to performing routine tasks as well as adapting to new projects as they arise.    

Duties and responsibilities may include but are not limited to:

  • Answer the office phone

  • Greet and assist in-store customers/visitors 

  • Stock retail fridge, keep retail space tidy/organized 

  • Monitor/ reply to general inquiry inbox and online orders inbox

  • Fulfill and troubleshoot e-commerce orders, retail pick up orders, and distribution pick up orders

  • Administrative maintenance projects e.g. filing and office supply inventory

  • Data entry projects

  • Prepare the office for Holiday closures

  • Coordinate staff meals, events, birthdays, and work anniversaries

  • Coordinate shipping of product samples

  • Log and deposit check payments

  • Communicate with customers to resolve outstanding invoices

  • Resolve returned receivables 

  • Develop assets for social media

  • Execute weekly customer e-newsletter 

  • Support the Account Management team as needed

  • Support the Production team as needed 

Qualifications:

  • MUST be able to lift 40lbs - you will be lifting cases of beverages and operating hand carts to fulfill pick up orders 

  • Outstanding customer service skills - you are the first point of contact when someone enters or calls our brewery 

  • Excellent attention to detail

  • Ability to be self-directed once trained on processes and systems

  • Adaptable to changing environments

  • Ability to learn our technical applications - Slack and Ekos

  • Social media account management

  • Graphic design

  • E-newsletter design and management

  • Copy writing and/or editing

  • Accounting/ bookkeeping

  • Quickbooks

  • Slack

  • Ekos

  • Google Suite
