Wild Bay Brand Ambassador Program Conduct and Standards Policy
Effective Date: 9/22/26 Last Updated: 9/22/26 Applies to: All individuals enrolled in the Wild Bay Brand Ambassador Program ("Ambassadors")
1. Purpose
This policy sets the standards of conduct expected of everyone participating in the Wild Bay Brand Ambassador Program. It exists to protect the reputation of the brand, keep Ambassadors compliant with advertising law, and make sure every Ambassador knows exactly what's expected of them and what they can expect from us in return.
By joining the program and accepting free product or perks, an Ambassador agrees to follow this policy in full.
2. Program Overview
Program type: Social media / influencer content
Compensation: Ambassadors receive complimentary product and/or perks in exchange for content and promotion. This is not an employment relationship, and Ambassadors are not employees, agents, or legal representatives of Wild Bay.
Term: The standard term of Ambassador status is 2 months. The Ambassador may be invited to participate again at the end of the 2 months. While the standard term is 2 months, Ambassador status is granted at Wild Bay’s discretion and may be reviewed, paused, or ended at any time per Section 9.
3. Eligibility
Ambassadors must be 18 years or older.
Ambassadors must have an active, public social media account on at least one approved platform.
4. Code of Conduct
Ambassadors represent Wild Bay publicly, even outside of sponsored content. Ambassadors agree to:
Be honest. Only make claims about the product that are true and that you can personally stand behind. Never fabricate results, reviews, or experiences.
Be respectful. No harassment, hate speech, discrimination, bullying, or personal attacks — on social media, at events, or in any brand-related communication.
Avoid controversy that isn't yours to carry. Ambassadors should not use Wild Bay's name, hashtags, or tagged content to promote unrelated political, religious, or personal causes.
Protect the brand's image. Do not post content while impaired, in unsafe situations, or in a way that could reasonably embarrass or endanger yourself or Wild Bay.
Follow platform rules. Ambassadors are responsible for complying with the terms of service of every platform they post on (Instagram, TikTok, YouTube, etc.).
No harmful, illegal, or adult content. Ambassador content must never include nudity, sexually explicit material, illegal activity, or content that could reasonably be seen as promoting harm.
Grounds for immediate removal from the program include (but aren't limited to): fraud, hate speech, harassment, illegal activity, or deliberately false claims about the product.
5. Content Standards
Stay on-brand. Use approved logos, product images, and messaging where provided. Don't alter product packaging or branding in a misleading way.
Quality bar. Content should be well-lit, in reasonably good audio/video quality, and free of content that could embarrass the brand (e.g., unrelated offensive material in the background).
Original content only. Do not repost someone else's content as your own, and do not use copyrighted music, images, or footage you don't have rights to.
No unauthorized claims. Do not make medical, health, safety, or performance claims about the product unless specifically pre-approved by Wild Bay in writing.
Competitor mentions. Do not disparage competitors. Neutral comparisons are fine only if factually accurate and pre-approved.
Review window. Wild Bay may request a preview of content before posting for 5 business days; Ambassadors will make a good-faith effort to accommodate this when asked.
6. Disclosure & Legal Compliance (FTC Guidelines)
Because Ambassadors receive free product in exchange for promotion, every relevant post is a paid/sponsored relationship under FTC guidelines, even if no cash changes hands. This is non-negotiable:
Every post that mentions or features Wild Bay product received through the program must include a clear, unambiguous disclosure, such as #ad, #WildBayKombuchaPartner, or "Gifted by @wildbaykombucha" placed in the caption itself (not buried in a hashtag block) — or use the platform's built-in "Paid Partnership" tag.
Disclosures must be easy to notice and understand — not hidden, not in a foreign language different from the post, and not placed only in a bio or "more" section.
This applies to all platforms and formats: Stories, Reels, TikToks, YouTube videos (verbal + on-screen), livestreams, and static posts.
Ambassadors are personally responsible for complying with the FTC's Endorsement Guides (or equivalent regulator in their country).
Failure to disclose is grounds for removal from the program and may expose the Ambassador to personal regulatory liability.
7. Intellectual Property & Usage Rights
Content created by Ambassadors featuring Wild Bay product may be repurposed by Wild Bay (reposted, used in ads, used on the website).
Ambassadors retain ownership of their original content but grant Wild Bay a non-exclusive, royalty-free license to use it for brand marketing purposes in perpetuity.
Wild Bay trademarks, logos, and brand assets remain the property of Wild Bay and may only be used per the brand guidelines provided at onboarding.
8. Confidentiality
Ambassadors may occasionally receive early access to unreleased products, campaigns, or internal information. Ambassadors agree to:
Keep unreleased product details, launch dates, and campaign plans confidential until Wild Bay publicly announces them or provides written permission to release them.
Not share internal communications, pricing strategy, or program terms with competitors or the public.
9. Program Review, Pause & Termination
Wild Bay may review, pause, or end an individual's participation in the program at any time, with or without cause, including for:
Violating any part of this policy
Extended inactivity (no qualifying content in [X] days/weeks)
A shift in brand direction or program capacity
Behavior that reflects poorly on the brand, on or off social media
Ambassadors may also leave the program at any time by notifying info@wildbaybev.com. Any outstanding product obligations (e.g., posting content for product already received) should be fulfilled or the product returned, per the program agreement.
10. Reporting Concerns
If an Ambassador experiences or witnesses harassment, unsafe conditions at an event, or a conduct violation by another Ambassador or brand representative, they should report it to info@wildbaybev.com. Reports will be handled confidentially and without retaliation against the person reporting in good faith.
Wild Bay reserves the right to update this policy at any time. Ambassadors will be notified of material changes and continued participation in the program constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
