# Wild Bay Kombucha

> Wild Bay Kombucha is a local beverage manufacturer and distributor based in Baltimore, MD, making premium, small-batch, raw, traditional organic kombucha (and, under the Icaro brand, sparkling yerba mate). Products are USDA Organic, Non-GMO, Vegan, and Kosher Star Certified, and are sold in 900+ stores across 9 states as well as via same-day local pickup.

Wild Bay started in 2015 when three friends began brewing kombucha out of the side of a Baltimore juice shop, based on founder Adam's family recipe. Whole Foods picked up the brand later that year, and the company has since grown from a handful of local cafes to 700+ grocery stores, cafes, yoga studios, gyms, restaurants, and bars, now brewing out of a 13,000 sq ft brewery in Northwest Baltimore. Since 2019, Wild Bay donates 1% of bottle sales each year (minimum $10,000/year) to the Chesapeake Bay Foundation, and supports oyster restoration in the Chesapeake Bay.
