TERRITORY Sales Representative
(Delaware/Maryland/dc/virginia)
Job Location: In office and in the field at potential retail partner locations and special events in Maryland, DC, and Northern Virginia.
Job Hours: This is a salaried, full time position. 3 days in office, 2 days traveling.
Schedule: Tuesday - Saturday
Salary: $50-55,000 starting salary
Job Details: We are looking for a driven individual to help grow our beverage distribution and brand presence in the Maryland/DC/Northern Virginia market. The role focuses on generating new business as well as growing sales within existing customers. Our ideal candidate enjoys being on the road multiple days per week and engaging with customers. As a younger brand there will be opportunity for this individual to grow into a sales management role as the team grows. This is a full-time salaried role with benefits.
Duties:
Develop and maintain a territory sales plan to achieve assigned sales targets
Identify and analyze market trends, customer needs, and competitor activity to develop effective sales strategies
Build and maintain strong relationships with existing and potential customers through regular communication and visits
Conduct product demonstrations and presentations to educate customers on the features and benefits of our products
Negotiate contracts and pricing agreements with customers to maximize sales opportunities
Qualifications:
Proven track record in sales, preferably in food and beverage sales or related field
Strong analytical skills to assess market trends, customer needs, and competitor activity
Ability to effectively market and promote products to potential customers
Outstanding customer service skills with a focus on building long-term relationships
Experience in outside sales or business development is highly desirable
Strong account management skills to effectively manage customer relationships
Self-motivated with the ability to work independently and meet sales targets
